    The highlights of this trek are big villages like Ghorepani and Chhomrong,best sunrise point "Poonhill", Annapurna Basecamp (4130m) and Jhinu (Natural hot spring); along with terraced fields and tropical fruit tree along the trails. Despite great height and surrounding peaks and ice walls, the valley floor between 12,000 and 14,000 ft. provide comfortable camping in good weather. Overview

Annapurna Base Camp (Sanctuary) trek is well-liked moderate Plus and passable nature trek through diverse landscape and prosperous culture with pleasing sunrise and sunset from Poonhill (3,210m), great Himalayan views, terraced fields, charming Gurung, Poon Magar, Thakali villages (with their great hospitality), natural hot spring, waterfalls and a broad variation of flora and fauna. The trail leads you to the Annapurna Base Camp 4,130m/13,549ft, which is one of the most famous trekking routes in Annapurna region. This trek offers you to witness 3 mountains above 8,000m. Annapurna Base Camp trekking offers you the lavish views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Tukuche Peak (6,920m), Nilgiri North (7,061m), Nilgiri Centre (6,940m), Nilgiri South (6,839m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Fishtail (6,993m Machhapuchhre), Gangapurna, Tent Peak, Annapurna South (7,647m), Hiunchuli, Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Lamjung Himal (6,988m), Manaslu (8,156m) and many other trekking peaks along with beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Annapurna Base Camp (Sanctuary) Trekking begins from Kathmandu upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport. The Capital city of Nepal, also known as the city of Temples, Stupas, Monasteries as well as rich Culture and old history. After having good rest in Kathmandu we start our trip to Annapurna Base Camp with Himalayan flight (25 minute) to Pokhara, gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp, during the flight you will see the great view of the Himalayas (from right side of the airplane), lakes, villages and terrace fields or drive 6-8 hrs along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River. Pokhara is best known for its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. If we drive normally we arrive by mid afternoon so you have time to explore or relax as you prepare for the journey ahead.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1,402m] Transfer to the Hotel. (Car/Bus).

Upon your arrival, a representative from Gurkha Hikers Adventure will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for briefing meeting once you have settled in. Please let us know if there is anything special you would like to do while in Kathmandu. We can help you arrange that. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath."B".

After Breakfast we Proceed for sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city 15 km from Kathmandu, known as city of Devotees and center of medieval art and architecture founded by King Anand Dev in 889 AD, visit Nyatpola temple, the most beautiful temple of Nepal, the 15th century palace of 55 windows, Golden gate and other place of Interest. Lunch Time: 1300hrs-14:00hrs PM: Visit Pashupatinath temple one of the most sacred Hindu shrine in the World. The holy river Bagmati and the burning ghats and also visit one of the oldest and biggest stupa of Boudhanath. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara [970 m]. "B". (06-07 hrs).

After breakfast in the Hotel we transfer to the domestic airport then we take flight to Pokhara (about 25 min), the beautiful lake city and catch great views of the Himalayas from the right side of our airplane. After landing in the Pokhara airport we drive to the Hotel, Afternoon: We have a half day sightseeing tour of Bindhyabasini Temple known for its fabulous view of the city and mountain ranges. Catch a glimpse of the unique waterfall, Davis fall (Tibetan Camp at Chhorepatan), home to the legend of the Devi’s fall (to add a little mystery to your adventure, be sure to ask about the legend when your there). You then head to the illustrious Gorkha Museum that represents the mountains, people, and the area’s environment. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Hile and trek to Ulleri [2,020 m]. "B,L,D". (Drive 02-02:30 Hours). Trek (02-02:30 Hrs).

After your breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara we begin our drive to Hile via Nayapul which is approximately 48 k.m. from Pokhara. The drive will take around 2 hours 30 min, in between will be stopped to check in to the Annapurna Conservation Counter at Birethanti. the later part of the drive from Birethanti to Hile going to be off road drive however it's beautiful to passing through settlements, terrace fields and streams. we begin our trek from Hile, trail until Tikhedhunga is more easier, the actual steep trails begins after crossing Bhurungdi khola suspension bridge which takes around 3 hours of hike to Ulleri( a huge magar settlememt). stay overnight at tea house.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani [2,810 m]. "B,L,D" (Trek 03-04 hrs).

After breakfast we continue our trek towards Ghorepani through the settlements of Banthati and Nangethati. We also pass a spring inside the forest after Banthati. Crossing the spring by a bridge we continue towards our destination. Occasional views of the peaks give way to a narrower valley, passing through Rhododendron forest then eventually reaching the village of Ghorepani where we spend a night. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 06: Sunrise trip to Poonhill and trek to Chule [2,375 m] via Tadapani [2,630 m] "B,L,D". (Trek 05-06 hrs).

Your guide will check the weather forecast and let you know the sunrise time. We will hike up to Poonhill early in the morning and return back to tea house for breakfast. The sunrise from Ghorepani is said to be one of the best sunrise as the Annapurna , Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayan Range which includes Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Barahi Shikhar, Machhapuchhre offer breathtaking views.

After breakfast we continue trekking towards Chuile. The first part of the trek is a ascend to Thabala Hill from where we will observe magnificent views of the Himalayas. We will then descend down to Deurali where we pass few teahouses and continue towards Banthanti where we will have our lunch. The trail then is a descend to a river from where we again climb up to Tadapani from where we take a left towards Chule. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong [2,170 m]. "B,L,D". (Trek 04-05).

The day begins on a sheer path inside the Rhododendron forests after your breakfast and onto the terraced fields which seems absolutely stunning. We then climb unwaveringly passing exalted waterfalls and cross a suspension bridge. The trail ahead is fixture of ups and downs finally reaching Chhomrong, our final destination for the day. It is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive. Overnight in Chhomrong. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 08: Trek to Dovan [2,630 m]. "B,L,D". (Trek 06-07).

Leaving Chhomrong the trail descends to cross the Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge, then climbs high above the Modi Khola on it's west bank. The trail then ascends through the villages of Tilche and Sinuwa and finally reaches Kuldi at 2350m. From here the trail descends a long, steep stone staircase into bamboo and rhododendron forests and eventually we reach the small settlement of Bamboo Lodge at 2,340m. After lunch at bamboo The trail continues along the west bank of the Modi Khola valley through dense bamboo forest, occasionally dropping to cross tributary streams, but ascending continuously, and reaches the settlement of Dovan.stay overnight at tea house.

Day 09: Trek to Deurali . [3230 m]. "B,L,D". (Trek 05-06 hrs).

Day begin with easy slope walk in the forest crossing small springs from the east face of Himchuli.about an hour of trek will take us to a sacred temple of the locals facing to beautiful waterfall ( looks beautiful during sep/oct).short ascending will take us to himalaya hotel, continue ascend to Hinku cave ( 3160m) from where we can see our today's destination " Deurali (3230m).|the stream which we are going to cross, some times remain as full of ice and slipery.stay at tea house.

From Bagar we continue to trek upwards and reach the area known as Machhapuchhre Base Camp at 3720m. This is a collection of tea-houses spread over a large area. From here the mountain views are fantastic and include Annapurna (8091m), Walking hours 03-04 hours (Trek). Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base camp [4130 m]. "B,L,D". (Trek 04-05 hrs).

Today is the main highlight of the trek where we will be heading towards the highest point of the trek, Annapurna Base Camp at an elevation of 4,130 meters. It will take around 4-5 hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp from here. We begin our trek after your breakfast on the trail that offers splendid views of Gangapurna and west slope of Mt. machhapuchhre.After passing small valley, we will ascend to MBC( Machhapuchhre Base Camp). nearing to MBC, the vegetation will be disappear, beautiful grassland which is the pastureland for the sheeps in the summer. After short rest at MBC will continue trek to Annapurna Base Camp while we will be welcomed by giants Annapurna right infront and other surrounding mountains including Annapurna I and Himchuli. After we arrive at the Base Camp the entire area is surrounded by mountains which are perfect to take some pictures for memory. We reach Annapurna Base Camp before noon allowing us to have plenty of time to enjoy nature. Overnight stay at Annapurna Base Camp. Tea House.

Day 11: Trek to Bamboo [2,310 m] or Sinuwa "B,L,D". (Trek 07-08 hrs).

After spending a night at the Base Camp we retrace our footsteps back to Bamboo on the same trail we trekked to get to the Base camp. The trail today is quite easy as it will be mostly downhill. If possible we will trek further ahead to Sinuwa. We will have marvelous sceneries always cheering us while we retrace our footsteps back to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 12: Trek to Jhinu Danda [1,760 m] (Hot Spring) . "B,L,D" (Trek 04-05 hrs).

After your breakfast we will start our trek towards Jhinu Danda where the hot water springs are waiting for us. We will ascend to Kuldighar followed by a descend to Chhomromg Khola. The hot spring at Jhinu Danda is a perfect medicine to heal your aching body after a long trek. We can spend our remaining time relaxing at the hot spring in Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda. . Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 13: Trek to (Deurali) Pothana [1,890 m]. "B,L,D" (Trek 06-07 hrs).

The trail today is comparatively very easy to Potana. We walk through New Bridge, Landruk, Bhedikharkha and Deurali to finally reach Potana. Potana is a village at an elevation of 2,005 meters offering marvelous view of Annapurna Himalayan Range and Fishtail. Overnight in Potana. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 14: Trek to Phedi drive to Pokhara [970 m]. "B,L,". (Trek 02-03 hrs+ Car 30 m.).

It is a short hike on this day. We begin our trek after your breakfast towards Dhampus from where the trail is steep downhill towards Phedi. From Phedi we drive towards Pokhara which is regarded as one of the beautiful city of Nepal. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu [1,338m]. "B". (Car+Flight+Car).

After breakfast in Pokhara, we have a mountain flight to Kathmandu; it is a thrilling exciting flight over forests, fields and villages with the Himalayas at the background. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 16: Trip ends! Fly back home, taking with you the memory of a life time. "B". (Car).

A representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will drop you to the airport. Return back home with the memories that last lifetime.
